1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the MC-Element website at mc-element.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are placing an order on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this website or place orders through it.

2. Products and Specifications

MC-Element supplies industrial connectors, cable assemblies, and related components as described on this website. We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product specifications, images, and descriptions are accurate. However, specifications may be updated by manufacturers without prior notice. It is the buyer's responsibility to verify that a product meets the requirements of their specific application before ordering. Datasheets and technical documents available on this site are provided for reference and should be validated against the manufacturer's latest published specifications where critical.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed on the website are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice and do not include applicable taxes, duties, or shipping charges unless explicitly indicated. For large-volume or project-based orders, pricing may be negotiated through our RFQ process. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods supported by our payment processor.

4. Orders and Fulfilment

Placing an order through this website constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. An order is confirmed only when we send an order confirmation notification. We aim to fulfil orders from local inventory where available. Lead times for out-of-stock or custom items will be communicated after order confirmation. We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including supplier delays, shipping disruptions, or force majeure events.

5. Shipping

We ship to addresses in Singapore and internationally on request. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout. Risk of loss or damage to products passes to the buyer upon delivery to the shipping carrier. International buyers are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, or taxes imposed by the destination country.

6. Returns and Refunds

Standard catalogue items may be returned within 14 days of delivery provided they are unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition. Custom cable assemblies, cut-to-length items, and special orders are non-returnable. To initiate a return, contact us at sales@mcelements.com with your order number and reason for return. Refunds for approved returns will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days. Shipping costs for returns are borne by the buyer unless the return is due to an error on our part.

7. Warranty and Liability

Products supplied by MC-Element carry the manufacturer's standard warranty. We do not provide additional warranties beyond what the manufacturer offers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MC-Element shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of products purchased through this website, including but not limited to lost profits, equipment damage, or production downtime. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the product giving rise to the claim.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, product data, and software, is the property of MC-Element or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this site without our prior written consent. Product datasheets and technical documents may be downloaded for your internal use in evaluating or specifying our products.

9. Account Responsibilities

If you create an account on our website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

11. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time by updating this page. Changes take effect when posted. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
